The Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport reports that the AC Milan club management is closely monitoring the young forward Sidiki Chérif from Angers, a surprise in Ligue 1 and born in 2006.
His speed and his movement in depth have drawn interest from several Bundesliga clubs, including Stuttgart, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hamburg and Gladbach. Chérif, who holds a French passport, has scored three goals in the early part of the season and has a contract with Angers until 2028, which forces interested clubs to negotiate a transfer fee.
The AC Milan management, through Geoffrey Moncada and his team of scouts, has stepped up their monitoring and has started talks with the player’s representatives, convinced he is on the way to a strong career.
