“It was a match we knew would be very difficult, because Sassuolo can score at any moment. We even risked losing. We take this point because it could be useful for reaching our goal. Milan and struggles against smaller teams:

On the referee’s decisions:
"He saw good things and made decisions. It was his first time at San Siro, and next time he will have more experience handling these matches."
On Gabbia and Pulisic:
"Pulisic was a tactical choice. At that moment we needed to strengthen midfield and restart, so I decided to add another midfielder. Pulisic was coming off a week where he lost weight and had a fever. I’d say it was a tactical change. We’ll check Gabbia tomorrow morning, hopefully it’s nothing serious."
