A delegation from Galatasaray, including vice-president Abdullah Kavukcu and sporting director Ugur Yıldız, arrived in Milan last night. Their list includes several players from the Italian league, and among them is reportedly Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana.
As explained by Corriere della Sera this morning, it remains to be seen if the Turks will be able to overcome the Frenchman’s resistance, as he has so far shown no signs of wanting to leave the Rossoneri.
On the eve of the match against Fiorentina, Max Allegri praised Fofana in the press conference, after the midfielder missed a goal against Genoa: "We congratulated Fofana. He also played well, and unfortunately he slipped. These things happen, they can happen during a season. The player’s value is important, he has done well so far and will continue to do so."
