Mike Maignan spoke to DAZN after Como–Milan ended 1–3. Once again, the French goalkeeper proved decisive.
On the match:
"We knew playing here would be difficult. We were prepared. We started slowly, they scored, but we did not concede a second goal. We held on as a team and scored when we needed to. We defended well and that earned us the three points tonight."
On Adrien Rabiot, Maignan commented:
“He scored two excellent goals and won the penalty, but above all there is a lot of work behind the scenes that we see, not only the goals. He did a great job for the team.”
Favourite save tonight?
"I would say the one against Da Cunha."
How much do nights like this make you feel the Milan spirit?
"We know what Milan nights are like, with atmosphere and tension. When they end like this, it is always nice because we left a lot of energy on the pitch. We work hard during the week, and when we show it on the field, it feels good."
How strong is your own desire for Milan?
"(Rabiot answers). He has a lot of desire! (Both laugh)."
