Over the summer, the Livorno-born coach strongly pushed to keep the goalkeeper and to bring in the midfielder. In recent weeks, the French forward has finally burst into life as well, scoring four goals in the last five league matches.
After the win against Como, Rabiot told DAZN:
"This is a team victory, it shows our mentality. We suffered a lot in the first half, then we didn’t give up. We talked to each other at half-time and came back with a different mindset, looking for the three points. Mike had a great game. We all gave something extra, and sometimes you also need to decide the match. I’m obviously very happy about the two goals, but also about the team’s mentality."
