Matteo Moretto, speaking on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, gave the following update on Milan’s January transfer market, with the Rossoneri having set their sights on Manchester City defender Nathan Aké, born in 1995:
“In recent hours there have been contacts and initial inquiries to understand the financial feasibility of a deal for Nathan Aké.
He is a defender Milan like, even though the situation is complicated for several reasons. First of all, he earns a high salary, and secondly, at the moment Manchester City have several injured players, so it remains to be seen whether the English club would actually let him leave. Milan are nevertheless trying to understand whether this could become a market opportunity in the final days of the winter transfer window.”
