AC Milan have been focusing on signing Jean-Philippe Mateta in these last hours of the winter transfer market window. However, the deal proves to be difficult, according to some of the latest reports, due to concerns over the Frenchman's knee condition.
Milan-Mateta, what is the current situation?
According to our correspondent, Vito Angele on X, the deal is awaiting the final decision from the Rossoneri club's management. There are, however, no positive feelings surrounding the transfer.
It should also be noted that the head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, has spoken about the availability of the forwards in the team in a press conference today, ahead of the Serie A match against Bologna, and said the following words:
"We’ll have time to fully recover Pulisic, Leao, Fullkrug; that finger will eventually heal. We’re approaching Gimenez’s return, which will be useful for the end of the season. I’m happy with the players I have at my disposal."
