Catanzaro sporting director Ciro Polito spoke at a press conference at the end of the winter transfer window and also addressed the topic of Alphadjo Cisse, the new AC Milan player.
Polito on Cisse:
“It was quite a risk, but in the end he wanted to keep wearing our colors. My main concern was really how we could replace Cisse; however, his agent always told me he would do everything possible to avoid causing us any difficulties, aware of how much an immediate departure could have weighed on us.”
Alphadjo Cisse's numbers this season
The 2006-born midfielder has made 21 appearances in Serie B this season, scoring as many as six goals. He is currently Catanzaro’s top scorer in the league.
