Marco Pasotto, the Italian journalist, shared his thoughts on gazzetta.it about the new stadium project for AC Milan and Inter Milan:
“Calm after the storm. But it is only an apparent calm when it comes to stadium matters in Milan. After the green light that made it possible to give political and bureaucratic shape, and potential life, to the stadium that will be built, restoring serenity after years of friction and delays, the two clubs are continuing the extensive preparatory work that followed the acquisition of the area. Because the time will come when the final project must be presented. In recent weeks, Milan and Inter made it clear at Palazzo Marino that they would like to begin construction within three to four months at most, and if it wasn’t already clear, urgency has been, and will remain, their most constant companion throughout the entire process. Meanwhile, even though not a single inch of ground around the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza has yet been touched, work is moving forward behind the scenes. As reported in today’s edition of The Times, Milan recently traveled to Liverpool with a five-person delegation. The purpose of the trip? To observe, study, and analyze the Hill Dickinson Stadium, the new home of Everton FC.”
