Milan’s season is going far beyond expectations, yet there are some quite evident gaps in the squad, such as the lack of a top-class center forward. The Diavolo need a true number nine for next season and this will be the club’s main objective in the summer transfer market at via Aldo Rossi. It is no secret that in January the Rossoneri tried to sign Jean-Philippe Mateta from Crystal Palace, but the deal collapsed due to issues that emerged during the medical examinations.

Kean target:
In the summer, therefore, Milan will push again to secure a major striker and one of the first names on the Rossoneri list is Moise Kean. This was reported this morning by Tuttosport, which explains that Massimiliano Allegri, who knows him well after coaching him at Juventus, had already indicated him as a reinforcement last summer. The Fiorentina player has a contract until 2029, with a 62 million euro release clause active from July 1 to July 15. The current season, however, has brought Kean few satisfactions, and he could therefore decide to change teams at the end of this campaign.
Are there other names on the AC Milan radar?
The Fiorentina striker is not the only name in contention to become Milan’s new starting center forward. Dusan Vlahovic, for example, remains a name to monitor, as his contract with Juventus is expiring, as does that of Pellegrino from Parma.
Attention should also be paid to two top players whose situations are uncertain: Darwin Nunez of Al-Hilal, who has fallen out of favor after the Saudi club signed Karim Benzema in January, and Gabriel Jesus of Arsenal, whose contract runs until 2027 and who recently changed agent, joining Giovanni Branchini's agency, who also represents Massimiliano Allegri, among others, as relayed via Milan News.
