Good news from Milanello: Santiago Giménez returned to training with the group, welcomed and celebrated by his teammates, as relayed via Milan News.
In fact, the Mexican striker, as Allegri had announced in recent days, has completed his recovery and reconditioning process and is now ready to work with the team again. It was the first training session after the derby: those who played on Sunday spent less time on the pitch than the others, who instead completed the entire session outdoors, including Santi.
The last time he played was on October 28, 2025, during the evening match Atalanta–Milan, when he was substituted after taking a knock to the ankle. From that point he underwent conservative treatment followed by surgery to definitively solve the issue he had been dealing with for several months. In the coming days, roughly between Thursday and Friday, it will become clear whether he will be available for Sunday evening’s match against Lazio.
