As reported by the Spanish press, Barcelona have cooled their interest in Rafael Leao, no longer considering him a tactical priority for Hansi Flick’s style of play, as he prefers profiles more similar to a traditional center-forward for the post-Lewandowski era.
Although the Catalans had pursued him in the past, the Portuguese player’s current inconsistent performances and his limited compatibility with the new technical project have led the Blaugrana management to look elsewhere. For AC Milan, while he remains a key technical asset, Leao’s sale is no longer considered off-limits.
