After Adriano Galliani withdrew himself from consideration as a candidate for the new federal president, Giovanni Malagò is now sailing ahead with strong momentum and is in a clear, sensational pole position to take on this crucial role starting from the end of June.
With the president seemingly identified, rumours continue to circulate relentlessly, linking several managers as possible future national team head coaches. On this matter, speaking to Radio Manà Manà Sport, Riccardo Trevisani exclusively revealed what could be the two new faces of the national team under Malagò as federal president.
These were his words:
"What I can tell you is: Malagò as Federal President, Claudio Ranieri as Technical Director, and Massimiliano Allegri as head coach. I’m passing it on exactly as it reached me. I don’t know whether it’s true or not, but it’s the message I woke up to this morning."
