Peppe Di Stefano, a Sky Sport journalist, spoke to 'MilanVibes' about Massimiliano Allegri:
"It’s fundamental. Today’s Milan is very much shaped by Allegri, who, together with Tare, has rebuilt a positive environment. He’s a coach-manager; he doesn’t need to be shielded. I hope he stays. But it’s clear he’ll ask for guarantees: next year Milan must be genuinely competitive, finishing fourth isn’t enough."
"If Milan fail to qualify for the Champions League, it’s a complete failure. And it would lead to a revolution. The big mistake was made years ago: you had a young team that had won the league, and all you needed was to add a few pieces. Instead, everything was dismantled and the direction was lost. Today you keep buying and selling, with constant changes in directors and coaches. But football isn’t finance, it’s about the group, continuity, and environment. That Milan under Pioli wasn’t the strongest, but it was the most united."
"Allegri has been perfect. He wanted to observe the team, but without raising his voice. He said very little: earn points, restore order, focus on details. He also said, ‘we all made mistakes’, so he took responsibility as well. He gave two days off, but managed them intelligently. The message is clear: no drama, but from now on we start again. I keep saying it, with another coach, Milan wouldn’t be in this position."
