This morning, Tuttosport reported that Sevilla and Nice are interested in Geoffrey Moncada, Milan’s Head Scout. In the afternoon, Sky also reiterated the French club’s interest in the Rossoneri executive. Now, Matteo Moretto, in his usual video on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, spoke as follows about Moncada’s future and the situation surrounding his contract renewal.
Moretto's statements on Moncada's situation:
“Moncada is currently, in effect, the Head Scout within Milan’s organisational structure. He was Technical Director. It is true that he has a renewal proposal on the table. The renewal is not done yet. I can confirm that there has been an approach from Nice’s side. There has also been an approach from Sevilla, but as of today that track is colder. The Nice option could potentially heat up, but I would say that Geoffrey's priority was, is, and remains Milan. The priority is to understand whether an agreement can be reached regarding the renewal. But not so much about figures or duration, rather about the type of project to build together. I believe all of these decisions will be made between Tuesday and Wednesday; they will be important days for Milan’s future.”
