Today’s edition of Tuttosport headlines this morning:
"Jashari: Atalanta and Roma applying pressure, but there is no one to negotiate with."
The Swiss midfielder, who joined Milan last summer after an endless negotiation with Club Brugge, has come off a season with quite a few difficulties, but despite this he has also attracted the attention of some Italian clubs such as Atalanta and Roma, who have placed him on their shortlist ahead of next season.
His agents are said to have already had contact with these clubs, but for now a negotiation with the Rossoneri cannot begin because there is currently no reference figure for the Milan club (the roles of chief executive officer and sporting director are still vacant following the departures of Furlani and Tare).
Without the management, which was dismissed last Monday by Gerry Cardinale, all contract renewal talks are also currently frozen, such as those for extensions for Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Fikayo Tomori.
"It is a moment of objective chaos, which the ownership must resolve no later than next week, because everything needs to be rescheduled (including the date of the summer training camp) and the players also need to be convinced that the reset that has been carried out was necessary," writes the Turin-based newspaper.
