Fabrizio Romano has comments on Rafael Leao's recent words in a video on his YouTube channel.
“Rafa Leão announces that he wants to leave Milan and does so through a public statement. There will be no way to deny it; Leão speaks in a video interview. He thanks Milan for having helped him grow, for having made him Leão. He says: ‘We’ve given each other a lot, I’ve written my name in Milan’s history and I was fortunate to be able to do so, but now I feel it is time for a new challenge,’ and he especially says ‘in another league’. Leão is already talking about going abroad regarding his future. He draws a line: a season has just ended, a new cycle at Milan is about to begin with a new management and a new coach, but Rafa Leão, Milan’s number 10, will not be there. A strong stance, something we perhaps didn’t expect in terms of timing, but in terms of the nature of the move, we have always indicated.”
