The summer transfer market, partly due to the Club World Cup, is progressing slowly, but there is no shortage of rumours. One of these concerns Atalanta, who are reportedly looking at AC Milan's squad to strengthen their midfield.
As explained this morning by today's edition of Tuttosport, in addition to Ardon Jashari, who had already been linked with the Bergamo club in recent days, Atalanta have now also set their sights on Samuele Ricci.
The former Torino player is highly regarded by Maurizio Sarri, Atalanta's new head coach. Milan, who paid €22 million plus bonuses a year ago to sign him from Torino, cannot value their midfielder at less than €20 million in any negotiations, as doing so would result in a capital loss on their accounts.
