With the revolution at Milan, which has completely overhauled its organisational structure and also has a new coach, the Rossoneri club is preparing to overturn the department that, on paper, performed the worst last season: the attacking unit. At the moment no one is certain of staying, except perhaps Christopher Nkunku, who fits well with the characteristics of Amorim’s style of play and for whom a significant investment was made last summer. All the others, including Christian Pulisic, are in doubt.
Milan, attacking revolution: the situation
Bringing the attacking issue to the table this morning in newsstands is La Gazzetta dello Sport, which tries to analyse case by case, excluding Niclas Füllkrug, who was not made permanent and will return to West Ham. The paper headlines it as follows:
"The 'Diavolo' reshapes the attack. Nkunku is untouchable, Gimenez certainly leaving: Pulisic-Leao the doubts."
In the subheading it adds: “For the Frenchman a new chance, the Mexican on his way out. Cardinale wants to keep Chris, but New York is calling”. In all of this, the return of Francesco Camarda is also expected; he will be assessed by Amorim at training camp and probably also on the tour.
