After closing the deal for Mario Gila, an operation that Milan aim to finalise in the coming days, the Rossoneri directors will not stop there and will try to bring Ruben Amorim another defensive reinforcement as well, namely Gonçalo Inácio, the Sporting Lisbon centre-back.
The new Milan coach knows him well and has reportedly been 'bombarding' him with phone calls in order to secure his support in negotiations with the green-and-white club, which are demanding over 40 million euros for his transfer fee.
This was reported this morning by 'Corriere dello Sport', which also adds that John Stones has been offered to Milan. The defender is currently a free agent, as his contract with Manchester City expired on 30 June. For the defence, the young Victor Valdepenas of Real Madrid is also appreciated; he is represented by the same agency that looks after Gila’s interests.
