Milan have completed the deal for Mario Gila.
And since, among all the talk, it is the facts that matter, we can say that the two clubs are now down to the final details. The centre-back had already reached an agreement with the Rossoneri club on a multi-year contract worth between €4 and €5 million per season plus bonuses.
Earlier today, the final green light for Gila's move arrived: Milan moved closer to the €30 million figure requested by Lotito. The initial offer, as already reported, was €24 million plus €2–3 million in bonuses; now comes the decisive increase. Milan are therefore preparing to hand Amorim a defender of absolute quality, as anticipated by Alfredo Pedullà.
It should be remembered that Real Madrid will receive around 50 per cent, as was agreed at the time.
