It was not only Ruben Amorim who was present yesterday, on his first day at Milanello. The Portuguese coach visited the Carnago training centre in the afternoon, accompanied by his staff, the Rossoneri management and Gerry Cardinale. Three hours were spent getting to know the facilities and the people who work behind the scenes.

Amorim’s staff composition:
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports who was alongside Amorim: Carlos Fernandes (assistant coach), Emanuel Ferro and Adelio Candido (technical assistants), Jorge Vital (goalkeeping coach) and Paulo Barreira (fitness coach). These are the five people who followed the coach into his new experience.
Who remained at the club after last season
The entire sporting department from last season has been changed, while other internal figures at the club have remained, trusted personnel who have been there for years. Alongside the Portuguese coach’s staff, the medical team led by Dr Mazzoni, the match analysts and the members of Milan Lab will continue to work. Some of them were already in place, as was team manager Alberto Marangon, who has been confirmed in his role.
