The Italian newspaper Tuttosport has published the following headline in this morning's print edition regarding the Rossoneri club's transfer market:
"Milan, look who’s back: Doué for Amorim.”
The new Rossoneri manager wants to play with Alexis Saelemaekers on the left, meaning Milan need a first-choice player on the right flank. As a result, the name of Guela Doué has come back into fashion. The Strasbourg winger and Ivory Coast international had already been heavily pursued by the Rossoneri a year ago.

Contacts have already been opened with the player’s representatives, and Doué has responded with great enthusiasm to the possibility of moving to Milanello. The Italians are ready to offer him a five-year contract worth €2.5 million per season plus bonuses, according to the Turin-based newspaper.
Reaching an agreement with Strasbourg will not be easy, however, as the French club are known for being tough negotiators and demanding high fees. For this reason, Milan are also considering an alternative option: Rafik Belghali of Hellas Verona. The Rossoneri have made enquiries about the Algerian full-back, who impressed during the World Cup and is valued at €15 million. Fiorentina are also interested in him, as relayed via Milan News.
