Regarding AC Milan’s next moves in the transfer market, Claudio Raimondi reported to SportMediaset that Ruben Amorim wants to strengthen the left flank, with Pervis Estupiñán expected to leave the club. The Ecuadorian has attracted interest from Unai Emery’s Aston Villa, having previously worked under the Spanish coach at Villarreal.
Milan hope to raise between €15 million and €20 million from Estupiñán’s sale and reinvest the money in Manchester United’s Noussair Mazraoui, who can operate on both the right and left sides of defence. The Red Devils are currently trying to complete a deal for Neco Williams, the Welsh defender born in 2001 who plays for Nottingham Forest. Should Williams arrive, United could become open to selling Mazraoui.
