Milan’s transfer market activity is continuing in a clear and decisive manner. Perhaps somewhat unexpectedly, given the delays and lack of clear communication throughout June. It seems that Gerry Cardinale has taken it upon himself to bring clarity (and finally step into the spotlight), as happened during the latest press conference presenting new manager Ruben Amorim.
The Rossoneri are continuing their work, with the signings of Gonçalo Ramos and Mario Gila already officially confirmed. Returning from his loan spell in the Premier League will also be Samuel Chukwueze, with manager Amorim speaking positively and confidently about him during his latest presentation press conference, as relayed via Milannews.it.
The Nigerian winger’s statistics, however, are far from impressive. So what should Milan do? Is it right to continue relying on the Nigerian wide player, or could the summer transfer window bring new developments? The player wants to convince Amorim and is therefore officially seeking a definitive redemption.
Chukwueze's chance for a comeback:
During his latest season on loan at Fulham, Samuel Chukwueze made just 25 competitive appearances, scoring 3 goals and providing 4 assists. These numbers are unfortunately very similar to those he recorded in a Milan shirt over his two seasons with the Rossoneri (2023/24 and 2024/25).
So far with the Diavolo, Chukwueze has made 70 competitive appearances, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists.
