According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, France is reporting "rumours of Milan having made an enquiry for Sankhoun Diawara, the 2006-born Troyes defender. Left-footed and 190 centimetres tall, he appears to be more of a Milan Futuro profile than a first-team player."
Transfermarkt values him at €2 million. In the last season, he made 14 appearances in Ligue 2, starting every match from the 23rd matchday onwards after spending the entire first half of the season, and even a little beyond that, outside the squad list.
However, he is not part of France’s traditionally strong youth national teams: his last and only appearance came on 10 September 2024, in a friendly for the Under-19 side, when he played the final 30 minutes against Poland’s U19 team.
