According to Turkish journalist Çağatay Çelik, “At Galatasaray, just like during last season’s winter transfer window, there are officials who want Rafael Leão."
In fact, as per the journalist's words, the Turkish club is willing to meet his expectations of a double-digit salary and represents the only option in this situation. If Leão fails to secure a move to the Premier League by August, things could become serious.
Journalist Burhan Can Terzi provided a further update about Leao's situation:
"An intermediary authorised by Galatasaray reportedly called Leão to inform him of the club’s interest and their proposal. The player, according to reports, is gathering information about Galatasaray and Türkiye from people close to him."
