Everything remains very enigmatic. After initially saying goodbye to the Rossoneri in May without the club’s approval, Rafael Leao now appears to have taken a more measured approach and is also waiting to understand what his future holds.
Of course, Milan are looking sell their number 10, also in order to reinvest the funds elsewhere (with Karetsas the main target), but it is not certain that the two parties will definitely go their separate ways. They are trying to find the best solution for everyone involved, that much is clear.
As reported by Tuttosport, one of the clubs most interested in Leao is Fenerbahce, an ambitious side that would have the financial resources to meet Milan’s asking price of around €60 million and offer the Portuguese forward a lucrative contract. However, the player does not appear convinced by a move to Turkiye, even if the destination were Galatasaray instead.
A surprise solution could come from Roma: in one move, Leao would be able to remain in one of Europe’s top leagues and play Champions League football, but for now it is only a matter of interest, according to Sky Sport Germany.
Meanwhile, Rafa continues to work hard and, with Milan’s permission, has even been training while on holiday with Corinthians (No, in this case there is no hidden transfer-market connection).
