That is the headline used by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning regarding Milan’s transfer market. It is no secret that the Rossoneri are looking for a left-footed attacking midfielder who can add quality and creativity to their attack.
Among the names Milan are evaluating with great attention is Matias Soulé, who is expected to leave Roma and was offered to the club’s management at Via Aldo Rossi in recent days. The Rossoneri are also studying other profiles, including Dario Osorio, the Chilean winger born in 2004 who currently plays for Midtjylland.
However, before attempting to push forward with any target, Milan first need to complete some sales. There are several unwanted players to move on, and the club need to raise funds after already spending more than €100 million to sign Gonçalo Ramos, Mario Gila and Sankhoun Diawara.
Further defensive reinforcements cannot be ruled out either, with Gonçalo Inácio of Sporting CP still a player Milan like a lot. However, in this case too, they need to sell someone first (Tomori is the first name who has started to be linked with an exit).
The feeling is that Milan’s transfer market could accelerate after mid-August.
