The start of the Serie A season is getting closer, and this campaign will see as many as eight changes on the benches compared with last season, including Ruben Amorim at Milan.
Serie A: The three highest-paid managers
The Italian outlet 'Calcio&Finanza' has compiled a ranking of Serie A managers based on their net annual salaries. At the top, tied on €5 million net per year, are Luciano Spalletti of Juventus and Gian Piero Gasperini of Roma.
Completing the top three is former Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri, who earns a net salary of €4.5 million per year in his new role at Napoli.
Amorim in the top five:
Milan’s new head coach Ruben Amorim shares fourth place with Maurizio Sarri of Atalanta, with both managers earning €3.5 million net per season.
Just behind them is Inter manager Cristian Chivu, who ranks sixth with a net annual salary of €3 million.
