The newspaper 'Quotidiano Sportivo' leads with the following headline on Milan this morning:
"Amorim at a crossroads. From Estupiñán to Loftus-Cheek, a squad on its way out. Athekame says goodbye."
The Rossoneri need to further strengthen the squad, as the arrivals of Ramos, Gila and Diawara alone will not be enough. However, several departures must be completed first. There are a number of players with their bags packed, including Tomori, Fofana, Estupiñán, Loftus-Cheek, Gimenez and even Leao.
The first to leave, however, will be Zachary Athekame, who will join Lyon on a straight loan, with the French side coached by former Milan boss Paulo Fonseca. The deal between the two clubs includes neither a purchase option nor an obligation to buy, meaning the Swiss full-back will return to Milan at the end of the season.
