In a video published on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano spoke about Christopher Nkunku, who has been placed on the transfer market by Milan:
"Milan have informed Nkunku that he is no longer part of the club’s plans. In fact, I can tell you that the Rossoneri have been quite tough with the Frenchman, who will no longer train with the first team and will work separately. Milan want Nkunku to find a solution as soon as possible. The player is also open to options other than a permanent transfer, so he would also consider a loan move. Milan have, of course, set their conditions, but Nkunku is looking for a new destination."
"People close to the Frenchman have already received the first calls. In January, Roma were interested in him, and he is a player Gasperini really likes, but at the moment we have no indication that there is a negotiation with Roma. We will see whether the Giallorossi return for the Frenchman or not. From abroad, however, several clubs have already made enquiries to ask for information.
"Milan have been very tough and strict with Nkunku and those close to him in making it clear that he should find the exit door."
