Speaking to SportMediaset on Italia Uno, Riccardo Trevisani gave his current Serie A starting grid:
“Starting grid for the league? In the front row, I have Inter and Napoli, because of the structure of their squads and also what they have achieved in recent seasons. Behind them, I see Como and Juventus. Como continue to sign strong players requested by their coach and will do well again, although the Champions League could be a distraction. Behind them, I have Roma, who will also have the Champions League. Like many other teams, the Giallorossi are struggling to sell players and, consequently, to make new signings. I want to see who they bring in as their left-sided attacking winger.
Then I have Milan, because I see confusion and they are still missing three or four new signings. Finally, in the fourth row, I have Fiorentina and Atalanta. I am delighted with Fiorentina’s transfer market, but Atalanta are also completing their squad well. However, after so many changes, they will need time.”
