Brand Finance, the world’s leading brand valuation consultancy, has published the latest edition of its study on football clubs, which assesses brand strength in terms of a club’s ability to influence the choices and opinions of fans, as well as its economic value. Real Madrid top the ranking for the third consecutive year, with their brand valued at €2.4 billion, up 24% compared to a year ago. They are followed by Barcelona (€2 billion) and Arsenal (€1.5 billion).
Here is the top 10, with no Italian clubs featuring:

- Barcelona – €2 billion
- Arsenal – €1.5 billion
- Bayern Munich – €1.5 billion
- PSG – €1.5 billion
- Manchester City – €1.5 billion
- Liverpool – €1.5 billion
- Manchester United – €1.4 billion
- Chelsea – €955 million
- Borussia Dortmund – €664 million
You have to go down to 12th place to find an Italian club, with Inter’s brand valued at €585 million. Milan are in 14th place (€514 million), Juventus are 16th (€419 million, down 17% compared to a year ago, when they were the most valuable Serie A brand), Napoli are 20th (€249 million), and Roma are 24th (€215 million).
Milan are the fastest-growing Italian club in 2026 and are among the ten fastest-growing football brands worldwide.
The Rossoneri have broken into the global top 15 for brand value, rising from 16th to 14th place and overtaking Juventus. For the first time, the club has surpassed the €500 million mark in brand value. This represents a new record under RedBird’s ownership, following previous records for revenue (€494.5 million in 2024/25) and sponsorship income (over €100 million), as relayed via Milannews.it.
But that is not all, as Milan are the fastest-growing football brand in the world between 2021 and 2026, with a 236% increase in brand value, ahead of Aston Villa, Porto, Bayer Leverkusen and Arsenal.
