On his social media profiles, transfer market expert Matteo Moretto provided an update on Rafael Leao’s future, with the Portuguese winger having become a target for Aston Villa during this final, intense week of the transfer window:
“Aston Villa and Milan have had an initial exploratory contact regarding Rafael Leao. The Portuguese is open to a move to the Premier League, but he has not yet received an official approach from Aston Villa. As things stand, the deal is still in its early stages. Galatasaray remain in the background, although they have so far failed to meet Milan’s demands. The Rossoneri have consistently asked for a fee of around €50-60 million, including bonuses.”
