According to Gianluca Di Marzio on his X account, negotiations between Milan and Como for Samuele Ricci are nearing completion, with the deal set to be a loan with an option to buy.
At international level, a club can have a maximum of six incoming loans and six outgoing loans (players under the age of 21 who were trained at the club are not included in the count). Therefore, Zachary Athekame, David Odogu and Christopher Nkunku occupy three of the six available slots for international loans. Milan still have Youssouf Fofana and Santiago Gimenez to move on, and they could also leave for clubs abroad on temporary deals with an option to buy. Meanwhile, Fikayo Tomori, whose contract expires in less than a year, will have to leave on a permanent transfer.
Then there is still the Rafael Leao situation, which remains a major talking point: the Rossoneri are aiming to sell him permanently, while Galatasaray, who currently appear to be the club most interested in the Portuguese forward, would prefer to sign him on loan, as pointed out via Milannews.it.
The situation is different for Samuele Ricci, who could also leave before the summer transfer window closes. The former Torino midfielder is in Como’s sights, meaning he would not count towards the international loan quota, but rather towards the FIGC domestic loan quota, which allows nine incoming and nine outgoing loans (players under the age of 23 are excluded from the count).
