According to MilanNews.it, a general meeting lasting around four and a half hours was held this morning in central Milan between Gerry Cardinale, the club’s management, including Almstadt and Gardiner, and Rossoneri head coach Rubén Amorim.
What emerged from the meeting is that Milan will remain active in the transfer market until the very last second, with the intention of making at least a couple of signings. The profiles have already been identified, including an attacking midfielder.
As for the players considered to be outside Amorim’s sporting plans, there is optimism that Fofana will find a new club before the end of the transfer window. As for Tomori, there are currently no offers on the table for Milan. Meanwhile, in the case of Gimenez, the club are trying in these final hours to re-establish contact with Porto, also with the help of Jorge Mendes.
