It is official: Rafael Leão is a new Galatasaray player for €38 million (not €45m as had been reported by Rossoneri sources in recent days) plus a 20% sell-on clause.
The operation generates around €27.7 million in capital gains for Milan (including the first two months of the 2026/27 financial year that have already been amortised) and frees up around €10.5 million in remaining costs. The overall positive financial impact compared with keeping the player for the entire season is therefore in the region of €38.26 million.
