Fabrizio Biasin, a journalist, spoke to RadioSportiva about Amorim’s Milan against Juventus and Gonçalo Ramos’ performance:
"He had a very poor game, partly because he didn’t find his place on the pitch and partly because, in fact, he wasn’t being supplied with the ball. However, from this point of view, I can say that, compared with the past, this isn’t the coach’s choice; on the contrary, if there is a coach who wants his team to play vertically and have the ability to play in the opposition half, it is Amorim. What’s more, after the match he didn’t make any excuses either: he was very clear. This wasn’t the Milan he expected and hoped to see."
"From this point of view, I don’t think there is a problem, because Amorim has a philosophy in which he will always look to supply his striker and his attacking players. Of course, having changed a lot in terms of the formation and the players, he needs to find the right combinations. There are a number of players who have just arrived who struggled in their first game; there are others we aren’t seeing. Pulisic, in fact, has played zero minutes and is one of the players who, until Christmas last year, was an absolute protagonist. Saelemaekers, who has somehow lost his ability to be a key player for this team, needs to rediscover it in my view, because he is a rare type of player for Milan."
