Mario Gila, the AC Milan defender, played against his former team this evening. The match ended 2-2 between the Rossoneri and the Biancocelesti.

After the match, the ex Lazio and Real Madrid centre-back had the following words to say to those at DAZN:
"Milan with two sides? Yes, that is a very accurate analysis. I think that in the first half we were disastrous, honestly. We were not the Milan we want to be, and it was a very different game from the second half, when instead we understood who we are, where we play and we certainly did much more than in the first half. I think that, after the work we did in the second half, we deserved something more. The second half was very positive, but we need to work so that the situation from the first half does not happen again, and we need to hold on to the positive feelings from the second half."
Gila on what went wrong in the first half?
"In the first half, we gave the ball away too many times. When we are comfortable on the ball and precise, we can be one of the best teams in the league, as we showed in the second half. We had an incredible second half, but it is also true that when you are not in a positive condition, any Serie A team can cause you problems in the duels. We saw that against Lazio: they are going through a very positive period and we paid the price for it."
