Tomorrow evening against Benfica, his former club, Gonçalo Ramos will once again lead Milan’s attack in their opening Europa League game of the season. The Portuguese striker spoke to UEFA TV, ahead of the match and discussed his move to the Rossoneri and the pressure that comes with it:
“I don’t feel the pressure of being Milan’s most expensive signing ever. There is pressure because I represent a great club, with the expectation of winning and lifting trophies. I don’t think there is any greater pressure than that. There is no time to think about who the most expensive player is or how much this or that player cost. What matters is winning every week.'
Gonçalo Ramos added:
'At the end of the season, what both we and our fans will remember is whether we won, whether we are champions, and whether we had a good season. I think that is the most important thing.”
