Milan’s fifth league fixture is drawing ever closer. Tomorrow evening at 20:45, the Rossoneri will take on Lecce at San Siro as they look to return to winning ways, having last picked up a victory on matchday two against Venezia. Ruben Amorim’s side are coming off two consecutive draws in the league, as well as Wednesday’s defeat to Benfica in their Europa League opener.
There is still no certainty over Ruben Amorim’s starting XI, particularly in two positions. But let’s take it step by step. According to Sky Sport 24, the defence in front of Maignan will remain unchanged: Gila and Pavlovic will operate as the wide centre-backs, with De Winter confirmed in the middle. In midfield, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot will return to the starting XI after being left on the bench in Europe.
Chukwueze should start on the right, while Moreira is currently ahead of Estupinan in the battle for the spot on the opposite flank. In the attacking midfield positions behind Ramos, Christian Pulisic is finally set to make his first start of the season. Alongside him is the second selection battle of the day, with Cisse currently favoured over Saelemaekers.
