The newspaper highlighted the player's excellent start to the season. The Belgian has scored three goals despite not yet being a regular starter for Ruben Amorim's Milan. Thanks to his versatility, Moreira can play in several positions, making him undoubtedly a major asset for the Portuguese coach.
Speaking about his current form, Moreira told DAZN after Milan’s 3-0 win over Lecce: "I’m actually someone who knows exactly what he wants from life and from his career, so I think it’s important to stay focused. I believe I’m the main example of that at the moment: I don’t start games, but I come off the bench, score goals and I think I’ve been putting in good performances. What I have to do is simply help the team and give my best. Whether I start or come on during the game, I have to give everything, and that’s how I can become a regular starter. Now it’s simply about continuing to work, continuing to believe and showing the coach that I’m ready to play from the first minute in every game," as relayed via Milan News today.
