The international break has begun. It will be an unusual one, as for the first time the international windows that were previously held in September and October have been combined into a longer break featuring more matches.

There will be a total of three weeks without club football before the teams return to action next weekend. In this regard, it will be interesting to see how the various clubs and coaches respond, given that for almost two and a half weeks they will be without the vast majority of their players.
Pulisic working to improve his fitness level
As is often the case, Ruben Amorim will have to do without several players. However, Christian Pulisic is not among them. The American forward has only recently returned from an injury, which led the Rossoneri coach to use him sparingly. The United States head coach has spared the Milan player from this first round of international call-ups, allowing the American to remain at Milanello and work on his fitness.
The Italian newspaper 'Quotidiano Sportivo' also highlighted this in its front-page coverage this morning, offering an overview of how the Milan clubs are managing the international break. The headline reads: "Serie A on holiday, but many stars keep working. The week for Inter and Milan." After focusing on Inter, the subheading turns to Milan:
"And Pulisic is working hard to improve his fitness."
