The issue is such a priority for Milan that this morning 'Corriere dello Sport' decided to lead with it in a side column on the front page.
The headline reads:
"Contract renewal on the table. Milan mission: tie Pavlovic down."
The subheadline then adds important details about the negotiations and the figures being discussed between the two parties: "Talks are ongoing to extend his contract until 2031: the Serbian has been offered a net salary of €3 million."
This evening, Pavlovic will take the field again for Serbia against the Netherlands.
