At the start of the week leading up to Sassuolo-Milan, Neroverdi coach (and ex Rossoneri player) Alberto Aquilani spoke to 'Sky Sport' about the clash against his former club.
Below are his statements.
"Cissé? I hope I don’t see too much of him. But I’m happy for him. The same goes for Favasuli and Liberali. They are players I worked with at a particular stage of their careers, in a difficult league like Serie B and at a club like Catanzaro. I saw them grow and I’m happy for them. I know how much we worked and suffered together, and each of their stories is different."
Aquilani added:
"Serie A is always difficult and competitive. This year, I think we’ve seen an improvement with the new rules, referees allowing you to play and a higher tempo. It will be a difficult game against Milan: we are facing a great team, but we have our own weapons and we have to keep believing."
