Ruben Amorim spoke to DAZN before Milan-Atalanta. These are his statements.
On Milan:
“I am always curious to see the team, I want to see the team in a match because we are at the beginning of something. The team is improving, we are playing better. We have to be consistent in the details and understand matches better. I expect a good match.”
What tactical setup have you thought of for the team?
"When the match starts, it will be easy for everyone to understand it. But I don’t want to say it now (laughs). But it will be clear. And if you pay attention, we have already had moments when we played with this eleven during matches. The players have to find the solutions with the right timing, we will have to be intelligent against a Sarri team, we will have to understand the moments when to press and we will have to manage to be in the right place at the right time."
Why is Cisse on the bench after the last match? Amorim replied:
"Every match is a different story. I will not field a player just because he did very well in the last match, every opponent is different. Cisse is not used to playing two matches close together. Cisse has to be ready and come on if there is a need."
