Ruben Loftus-Cheek spoke to Sky Sport ahead of tomorrow’s match against Bournemouth. Here are his comments on the eve of the game:
On returning to England:
"It is always nice to come back home here to England. I have good memories in this place, but also some difficult matches," as relayed via Milan News.
On Amorim's work
"I believe every coach has their own style of play and the principles they want to convey to the team. The manager likes to have possession of the ball, and I believe we also have the right characteristics to put these ideas into practice. We are adapting to his style of play, and I believe the team is in a very positive moment."
On Milan’s objectives, Loftus-Cheek had this to say:
"We want to return to the Champions League and win trophies. We know that the fans expect a lot, and they are right, but I believe that in football, time is needed to build something important, with ups and downs as well."
On Bournemouth:
"They have not done particularly well in the Premier League so far, but they are a dangerous team because they have played well and picked up points in their recent matches in Europe. I expect a difficult atmosphere, a very intense one."
On his future, Loftus-Cheek said:
"I believe it is right to talk only about football and take it one match at a time. For me, that is the most important thing. I feel very good here, it is a source of pride to play in these colours and I am honoured to do so, but it is still too early to talk about a contract renewal or the future."
