On the table for AC Milan are the new stadium and Krosche as the new Head of Football
The smile with which he left the BluEnergy Stadium was one of relief: beginning one of the crucial weeks of the season with an atmosphere poisoned by the bitter taste of a defeat or a lacklustre performance would have ruined the anticipation of the fundamental events awaiting Milan in the coming hours.

The first item on the calendar was to reaffirm 'if there were ever any need) the broad support for Ruben Amorim:
"The team," Gerry Cardinale made known after the victory in Udine, "continues to improve and showed great resilience after the disappointing match in Europe. We maintained high intensity throughout the entire game; possession of the ball and aggressiveness in winning it back after losing it were very positive aspects. Amorim managed the rotations and substitutions well. All of this puts us in a good position ahead of Wednesday's home match."
Tomorrow, of course, against Bologna at 6:30 p.m. at San Siro. But not only that.
This week, the pitch also offers the highly anticipated derby, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at 8:45 p.m. at Milan's San Siro.
A double home commitment that will slightly rebalance the home-away record of Maignan and his teammates (7 matches out of 11 away from home).
In Serie A, the Rossoneri have not yet experienced the word defeat, and they will absolutely want to avoid it in the next two decisive matches in front of their fans.
Cardinale will stay alongside the team throughout the week, remaining in Milan to attend tomorrow's match in person and, above all, Saturday's thrilling encounter, as pointed out via Corriere dello Sport in today's edition.
Milan-Krosche:
At the moment, Milan have no executive who can authoritatively support Amorim in his work at Milanello.
His stay in Milan will also serve this purpose: during these hours, Cardinale will continue direct contacts with Markus Krosche to find a definitive agreement, so as to appoint him the Rossoneri's Head of Football before the end of the year.
The financial agreement is already in place; what is still missing is a detailed agreement on responsibilities and roles, as well as a handshake on the compensation (around 5 million euros) to be guaranteed to Eintracht to release the executive before 2028.
The stadium matter:
San Siro will not be in the spotlight only because of its famous pitch.
On Thursday at 4:30 p.m., the official presentation of the project for Milan's new stadium is scheduled to take place in the Sala Viscontea of the Sforza Castle; Cardinale will personally play a leading role in it, together, naturally, with his counterparts from Inter.
The project has been entrusted to the renowned architectural firms Foster + Partners and Manica and envisages a stadium with approximately 71,500 seats, including more than 13,000 premium seats.
The new San Siro will rise in the area of the current parking lots, and the start of construction is scheduled for the second half of 2027, with plenty of time before Euro 2032.
