A very original protest that can also be interpreted as a provocation designed to spark debate. Will AC Milan fans be unable to enter the Ferraris Stadium to watch the match against Genoa? In that case, they will go to the Genoa Aquarium instead. The initiative was announced by the Rossoneri Curva Sud ahead of the match scheduled for Sunday, 8 November at 15:00.
Amorim hopes that away travel will be opened to Rossoneri fans residing in Lombardy in the coming hours. He knows how much of a difference they can make, as they did in the derby. The match against De Rossi's side is a highly regarded fixture at Milan, and for this reason, the Rossoneri coach will have to manage his resources for next Thursday's match at San Siro against Ferencváros, which is valid for the fourth round of Serie A.
Milan, who will play against Ferencváros?
Maignan will not be available against the Hungarian side Ferencváros because he is forced to serve a one-match suspension following his red card against Bournemouth. Torriani is ready to replace him, as relayed via Calcio Mercato.
Amorim has few options for rotation in defence given the injuries to Tomori and Gabbia. Terracciano could get a chance on the right, with Gila and one of De Winter or Pavlovic (the former is the favourite) in the centre, and Estupinan on the left.
In midfield, Jashari is certain to have a place, with Musah and Rabiot competing for the remaining spot in the midfield trio. Modric will be rested.
On the attacking midfield line, Hutchinson should get a chance on the right, while Bartesaghi will play on the left, with Cisse behind Gonçalo Ramos.
What about the Genoa match?
Sunday's match against Genoa at the Ferraris will be a fixture that Milan must approach well to avoid giving confidence to a difficult side and a crowd that knows how to inspire its players. Maignan will return to defend the Rossoneri goal, with Gila returning on the right, De Winter and Pavlovic on the left.
In midfield, the trio seen in the derby is expected to be confirmed, with Rabiot free to make forward runs between Musah and Modric. Diawara will play as a wing-back on the left, while Moreira will operate on the opposite flank. Pulisic will return to support Ramos in attack.
